Cartooning People - 2 Day Online Workshop - 10th & 11th Feb

Finding it difficult to capture the likeness of people in your art? Do all your artworks look different when you color because of the tons of brushes and tools in digital art? Struggling to find the perfect streamlined coloring process?
In these sessions, I will teach you the step-by-step process that I use to create my characters and illustrations. Together we will create one character from references using a sample client brief.
I will show you how to draw faces, poses and color your characters making them presentable to your clients.
For Beginner and Intermediate Levels
16+ Years. Not for younger kids.

- Session 2: Feb 11th, 11am IST (2 Hours)

Tools Needed:
Ipad + Procreate App or any digital medium.
The focus will be on the drawing and digital coloring process. Skills taught will be transferrable to any digital medium (Photoshop, Sketchbook, etc)
Things covered in this workshop:
In the two sessions, we will create a cartoon character from references to learn the entire process of illustrating a Human Character.
Session 1:
- Drawing the Face from Reference
- Capturing the Likeness of the Person from Photos
- Drawing Human Poses in proportion from multiple references
Session 2:
- The Fundamentals of Digital Coloring
- The 3-Step Coloring Process
- Understanding Light and Shadow
- Polishing your Character Art
The session is interactive so be ready to show your face :)
Note: Basic knowledge to know in your preferred drawing software - Importing images, Selecting, Transforming, Brushes, Eraser, Layers. (will be taught using Procreate)
